    Hi,

    A few hours ago, using the latest WP and Wordfence versions I’ve had my website down for 40 minutes. I’ve contact hosting support and they told me that I should check my mysql errors which I did and found the one below related to Wordfence. Could you please check and get back to me on fixing the issues?

    /home3/casanovi/public_html/wp-admin/error_log:
    [18-Oct-2012 10:53:05] PHP Warning:  mysql_connect() [<a href='function.mysql-connect'>function.mysql-connect</a>]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) in /home3/casanovi/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wfDB.php on line 56

    Hi,

    My apologies for the delay in replying.

    Are you using any kind of custom database setup? Or is it a standard mysql configuration?

    Thanks,

    Mark.
