    Hi guys. Great plugin, too bad you’re already a victim of your success. Very poor support for those of us who in good faith installed your plugin. I emailed this same question a week ago with no response. I’d be happy with even a rough estimate of how long it might take. Or an idea of how much your paid service is. Or whether I should just go elsewhere to pay for a secure service. I run a business and this ain’t good. Appreciate your prompt reply. Thanks.

  • Old version 3.2.7 will not work. In order to initiate a successful scan you will need to update to latest version.

    UPDATED VERSION 3.3.2 A complete rearchitecture of Wordfence scanning to massively improve performance. Free customers are now 100% back in business ( – after they upgrade to latest version).

    Hi BizWriter,

    We’re back with a major upgrade and huge performance improvement to the core of Wordfence. It will allow us to continue to support a large community of free users without service interruption for the foreseeable future. My apologies for any inconvenience caused to our free users. Our paying customers had uninterrupted service during the outage as we were forced to give them priority. The rearchitecture has reduced load on our scanning servers to a fraction of what it was which will allow us to provide the free service to the community without interruption.
