i just have installed the latest release of WB to one of my pages in the intention to push my posts to a facebook fanpage. This works quite good except of these issues:
The comments are set to be handled by WordPress and Wordbooker in the dropdown menu. On the very first call after login, i see some more comment options below this – where i can set if WB should poll the comments from FB, set the auto improvement of the comments to WP and so on.
These options are always showed only ONCE. I check all the boxes, save the stuff – and the checkboxes are disappearing in the menu – just leaving the Dropdown “Comment handling:” in the Comment Handling Options section.
When i log out of WP and relogin, the checkboxes are appearing again – but they are all reset. It seems that the options are not saved (and not used!).
When a picture in the article is not set as the featured image before posting, the facebook wall always shows the blue Gravatar icon as the post image. That’s quite ugly! The same appears if a post does not include an image.
My suggestion would be to grab the first image out of the article if the featured image is not set, and also to define the ability to give WB the URL or a “default image” which is used if a post has no image included. In this case i can define a logo to be posted to the fanpage instead of having this Gravatar icon. (This is the way the “Simple Facebook Connect” plugin is doing it, but the plugin is actually unreliable in posting so i can’t use it).
Any ideas, escpecially to the issue 1) are appreciated 😉 … thanks for your support and this great plugin!
