• Can Wordbooker obtain a thumbnail for the Facebook post from a custom field? Every one of my posts has a custom field with the URL of a 128×128 pixel thumbnail attached. I would like to include this in my automatic Facebook updates along with the link attachment.

    Is there a way to do this, whether from supplying a custom field key somewhere or by including the URL in my page header with the tag Facebook and Digg suggest adding:

    <link rel="image_src" href="thumbnail_image.jpg" / >

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordbook/

    This was meant to be about Worbooker, not Wordbook. I must have typed it wrong…

    WordPress 2,9 supports thumbnails – it just needs adding into the theme.

    Wordbooker supports WordPress thumbnails at the current dev release

    Okay, thanks for the information. It might be a pain to migrate from a custom field to the “official” method though. I’ll have to look at the SQL columns…

    Can you give me an example of what the tag looks like in the raw post (i.e. in the editor) and a url for a page with the image embedded in it. It might be quite easy for me to adapt the thumbnail grabbing code to also pick up your tagged images
