[Resolved] [Plugin: WooCommerce German (de_DE)] Anpassungen an deutsches Recht?

  • @owcv:
    Ich antworte ausnahmsweise doch mal auf deutsch hier, obwohl es eigentlich verboten ist:

    Nein, wird es mit *diesem* Plugin hier nicht geben, da dies ein reines Sprach-/ Übersetzungs-Plugin ist.

    Ich habe aber ein Plugin mit beiden Anpassungen von oben soweit fertig – dies wird extra veröffentlicht. (Kommt in einigen Tagen! 🙂

    Nochmal als Hinweis: Alle diese Plugins können KEINE “Rechtssicherheit” gewährleisten, die kann nur der Betreiber selbst herstellen, am besten auch mit anwaltlicher Beratung. Plugins können keine Garantie für sowas geben, wer sich nur auf Software verläßt, ist schlecht beraten.

    Sorry, diesen Hinweis muss ich bringen!

    Ansonsten, viele Grüße, Dave 🙂

    Please note that these are English-speaking forums. Please use English.

    @esmi:
    I know, but that was a special question that couldn’t be answered in English yet.
    Thanx, Dave 🙂

    Then I’d suggest also including the English translation so that the answer is available to all forum users.

    This plugin is only relevant for German language and has NO relevance for any other language. I couldn’t help if users ask here in German – I for myself want to give the best user support possible and I want to get understand by the users.

    I am sorry but in such cases with a few very language specific plugins like this one the forum guidelines may not be useful at all with a language restriction.

    Actually they’re kind of more useful. I mean, if this is only relevant to the German speakers, then it’s even more appropriate in the German forum.

    http://forum.wpde.org/ is the one linked from http://de.wordpress.org

    @ipstenu:
    Thanx – I already know these forums and I am happy to help there!
    But users asked on the plugin forum – and I just responded there.

    Why should I repost a user question on another forum? This seems a bit awkward, and then again, for what purpose are the plugin/tags support forums?

    IMHO, it makes a bit sense to allow a few non-English posts on such specific plugins — or you might link to the locale specific forums for such plugins if the plugin author requests it? This would be a nice enhancement here I guess.

    What do you think?

    Thanx, Dave 🙂

    hey david,

    are there any news on the german adjusted checkout plugin you were writing about?

    thanks, side!

    Hy David Decker, you do a great job with this Plugin!

    Because of a an important and upcoming german law change, you maybe heard of it, it would be very nice if you make a minimal text change:

    “Bestellung abschicken” => “kostenpflichtig Bestellen”

    The reference: http://www.internetrecht-rostock.de/gestaltung-button-zahlungspflichtig-bestellen.htm

    Thank you already for this awesome plugin Dave!

    @simonsov:

    In English:
    Thanks for reporting this stuff – it’s already known to me and I have an update ready and adjusted the last 2 language packs – and of course all following. Included are also 3 helper functions for all 3 recommended button string texts. I only wait for the fixing of another third-party plugin which interferes the WooCommerce filters needed for the helper functions. If this issue is solved in the next days I release ASAP, otherwise I also release 😉

    German version:
    Das Problem ist bereits bekannt und gelöst/eingearbeitet – im nächsten Update ist es dann fest mit drin, für die letzten beiden Sprachpakete und alle ab jetzt folgenden! Ich warte nur noch auf einen Fix für ein wichtiges Dritt-Plugin, welches derzeit einen WooCommerce-Filter blockiert, den ich für Helfer-Funktionen brauche, um gleich bequeme Filter-Hilfsfunktionen für alle 3 empfohlenen Button-Texte mitliefern zu können. So hat man eine Lösung für verschiedene Shoparten etc.

    Ich hoffe das hilft.

    Diesmal zweisprachig, da hier sonst nur English erlaubt ist.

    Hope this helps for the moment.
    Thanks, Dave 🙂

    I had a look into your po-files but did not find the string “In den Warenkorb”. I like to change this text a bit, what file must I modify?

    Great plugin, David, thanx!

    Hi,

    first of all many thanks for your plugin. Fantastic work !

    Is there any chance to add the delivery time to the “in stock” wording on the product page (=”auf Lager” or “vergriffen”). This information is needed due to German legislation.

    I tried to change it directly in PHP code, but then the same delivery time obviously appears for “in” and “out of stock”. As you only provide the MO and not PO file it is difficult to change it in the binary file myself as this would be more a customized solution.

    Ideally this shouldnt be added dynamically by the Woocommerce plugin itself, but this functionality doesn’t currently exists and I dont get an answer in the woocommerce forum

    Many thx in advance
    Albrecht

    @hapke:
    Hello!
    Thanks for your feedback! 🙂

    Please create a new topic for every issue/request!

    To your question:
    This string is in the files already, but you’ll need to edit the .po files. You’ll find both .mo/.po on my personal website here:
    http://deckerweb.de/material/sprachdateien/woocommerce-und-extensions/#woocommerce
    (are the same files used in this language plugin!)
    Edit the .po file with Poedit Editor and then save, the .mo file will automatically be updated! (Please enable “Create .mo file on saving” in the Poedit settings)

    If you go that way you might then use the custom .mo lang file in your themes folder

    /wp-content/themes/aktives-theme/woocommerce/sprachdatei/woocommerce-de_DE.mo

    You’ll then have to make updates yourself in the future.

    I hope this helps, Dave 🙂

    @albrecht:
    Hello!
    Thanks for your feedback! 🙂

    Please create a new topic for every issue/request!

    To your question:
    Please check if your used theme has WooCommerce templates with it – then you can change it there – and not in the plugin (plugin changes are never recommended!)

    You can also change it via my language files which are for download on my personal website here:
    http://deckerweb.de/material/sprachdateien/woocommerce-und-extensions/#woocommerce

    Another – most elegant – solution is to use a filter function:

    add_action( 'woocommerce_after_single_product_summary', 'custom_add_shipping_status' );
    /** WooCommerce single product: Add custom shipping status */
    function custom_add_shipping_status() {
    	echo: 'Lieferbar innerhalb von 3 Tagen';
    }

    This sample code should do it – but untested. Try to use this ‘woocommerce_after_single_product_summary’ action hook.

    Please note: There is currently a plugin in development by Inpsyde GmbH (u.a. hinter WP Deutschland), which will offer a lot of Shipping Statuses/Lieferzeiten. This should release soon so I hope this will be then the best solution for Germany including lots of “Rechtssicherheits” stuff… 🙂

    Hope this helps, Dave 🙂

    Thank you very much, Dave,

    Both your suggestions work perfectly fine. Finally decided to use the more elegant solution suggested by you above and combined it with a suggestion from MIke Krapf from the woocommerce support team (please see below).

    Also can’t wait for the improvements from Inpsyde GmbH. Where is the best place to check for their release updates ?

    // Hook in
    add_filter( 'woocommerce_get_availability', 'custom_override_get_availability', 1, 2);

    // woocommerce hooked in function $availablity is passed via the filter!
    function custom_override_get_availability( $availability, $_product ) {
    if ( $_product->is_in_stock() ) $availability['availability'] = __('Auf Lager (Lieferbar in ca. 3-5 Tagen)', 'woocommerce');
    return $availability;
    }
