[Plugin: WooCommerce – excelling eCommerce] Not receiving new order notification

Hi,
In the woocommerce settings I have entered my email address correctly for the new order notification etc. However when I get an order I am not getting a notification sent to my email.
I’m not sure if this should happen aswell but I was expecting some kind of visual notification in the dashboard that i have an order. Much like a plugin that needs updating.
