Not receiving new order notification (2 posts)

    In the woocommerce settings I have entered my email address correctly for the new order notification etc. However when I get an order I am not getting a notification sent to my email.

    I'm not sure if this should happen aswell but I was expecting some kind of visual notification in the dashboard that i have an order. Much like a plugin that needs updating.

    First test that your site can use wp_mail or another words php mail instead of raw smtp. To know for sure, simply create a dummy user account (but real email) in your backend and check the option to send password to user. See if you get the new user email. If you do, then it means your site can use wp_mail (php mail). Then we can proceed to check other areas.
