Support » Plugin: WooCommerce » [Plugin: WooCommerce – excelling eCommerce] Add SSL to WooCommerce Checkout Page

  • I want to add a free SSL certificate from Startssl to my woocommerce checkout page. In order to do this I need to create a subdomain of that page, but cannot figure out what the directory root would be to set up the subdomain since there isn’t a Checkout.html page.
I want to create a subdomain that is Checkout.domainname.com. So when I type that into my browser it takes me directly to my checkout page. So I need a directory root that starts something like pubic_html/

Does this make any sense to anyone?

WC requires dedicated SSL for now – shared ssl certificates which work via a subdomain cause problems with the ajax. We’ll look into this limitation in the near future.
