• Hey,
the plugin works great however it’s not possible to usse a logo image as “Shop Name” because WP converts ‘ or ” to \’ or \” – I think a logo looks way more professional than just the Shop Name and I’d like to insert html image tags too into the option field.

In addition it would be great if you add some basic headline styles (and strong tag styles) to the print.css.

    Hi there!
Thanx for your feedback! I will check out the image logo thing and think about adding an image option. The goal with the plugin was to keep it as simple as possible. So maybe I’ll add a blank logo image everyone can replace via theme or so…

With the styles in general there will be some additions/improvements with the next update anyway – I just keep an eye on the headline stuff especially 🙂

Thanx again for the feedback, much appreciated!

I think img tag support for the input field(s) would be the best solution because the user can decide if he wants to use one or more images or just styled text, etc.

Replacing dummy images, etc. isn’t a user friendly solution imho.

Thanks for the great plugin and looking into this issue(s) 🙂

    Hi again!
    Thanx for the feedback!
I am sorry I did misunderstood you a bit… Now I got it and tested around a bit:
I’ve just found a code solution to place img tags inside the fields and display them/put them out 😉 Will be included in the next update for sure!

Will that be ok for the company title field or do you think it will be needed for other fields as well? Would love to get your opinion on this 🙂

As for the general principle: I thought upload a picture would be okay for most users but placing html tags or full urls is too much for some – probably I am wrong here and might just follow your suggestion.

    Thanx again!

I think the best solution would combine both approaches. You can add an uploader for users which don’t want to insert html/img tags into the text fields but I’d allow these tags for advanced users. You could add a small description to the text fields (like “supports plain text and html code”).

Users who don’t know html can use the uploader then, others can control the content by using the text fields and everyone is happy. I’d add it to all fields because i.e. the “footer” notes can also be used for logos or contact details, etc.

Users who don’t know html won’t insert something wired anyway and advanced user obviously want to style their output if they add html tags or images 🙂

    Hi Dannyqa1!

Thanx! In the next update I’ll add the proper image filter so all img tags will be kept! The uploader stuff makes sense, you’re right. I need to figure out how I could add this without much overhead. So I am trying to achieve this with one of the next versions. I hope this is ok for you.

    Thanx, Dave 🙂
