    WooCommerce Compare Products is a child plugin of WooCommerce

    WP e-Commerce Compare Products is a child plugin of WP e-Commerce

    Both Compare Products Plugins have almost identical functionality – WPEC and WOO are completely different e-Commerce structures, hence the need for 2 different plugins.

    Same reason why you can’t install a WooCommerce extension on a WP e-Commerce site or visa versa (there are a couple of exceptions but these a strictly administrative function plugins). As soon as you get to anything front end – nothing is compatible.
