Plugin won't update or deactivate

    I’m having the exact same problem. I guess the only option is to remove the plugin from the server.

    I think I figured out what was causing the problem.
    I had a firewall set up that was catching a word in this plugin name.
    Possibly “exploit” or “scanner.”
    Check any firewalls or other security plugins you have to see if that is preventing the update / removal.
