# plugin won’t unpack

 * Everytime i try to upload a plugin from within my site it says that it is unpacking
   the package but it never does and when i try to ftp the plugin it shows the files
   uploading but the plugin never uploads.
 * Why is this happening?

 * What do you mean the files upload but the plugin doesn’t upload?
    The files are
   the plugin.

 * If you can’t unpack the files with the internal installer and you can’t complete
   a manual upload via FTP, then it sounds like something is wrong with your server.
   You should probably contact your hosting provider’s support department.
