[resolved] webm files uploaded as application/octet-stream files (3 posts)

I see this plugin does not apply the correct values to the blob when it is uploaded to Azure. All video files have a content-type and mimetype of "application/octet-stream".

Using the HTML5 <video> tag requires these uploaded video files to have the correct content-type and mimetype assigned to them in Azure. Otherwise, the videos won't render.

Specific issues are with .mp4 and .webm file types. Can this plugin be fixed to assign the proper content-type and mimetype values on upload?

    Thank you!

v1.7 of the plugin now sets content-type for all files uploaded to the Windows Azure Blob Storage. Could you please test v1.7 with .webm files?

This seems to be working correctly in the latest version of the plugin
