Plugin will not delete

How do I delete this plugin? Tried wpadmin and get Plugin could not be deleted due to an error: Could not fully remove the plugin(s) simple-301-redirects/wp-simple-301-redirects.php. tired via ftp and get permission denied and cannot reset permissions
