This plugin came with the theme I bought. I deactivated it, but it will not delete. When I try to delete it, I get an error that says “Deletion failed: There has been a critical error on this website.Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.” (There’s no link in that Learn more text.)

I tried reinstalling woocomerce and then deleting this plugin, but that didn’t work either.

Can you help me delete this plugin? I don’t need it and I don’t want it taking up resources on my site.

I have the same issue! Is there any update on this from the TI WooCommerce Wishlist staff? I would also like to delete the plugin from my site but I get the same error:

“Deletion failed: There has been a critical error on this website.Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.”

    Thank you

I’m having the same issue, any solution yet on this?

This isn’t a solution from the developer, but I did figure out how to get it removed. I had to go to my website files and find the exact file for this plugin. This will not be in your WordPress dashboard. It will be in the admin side of your hosting service. If you don’t have access to that, then you probably have an admin that can delete the file for you.

Thanks for the tip, so basically going into the theme’s plugins folder and deleting the TI WooCommerce Wishlist plugin folder, correct?

It’s not your theme’s folder. It’s in the files of the entire website. The plugin exists separate from the theme. It just happens to be automatically downloaded with the theme. Your website files will have folders for plugins.

Thanks, I was actually able to just delete that plugin’s folder from within the file manager in my cPanel, that did the trick!

So, cPanel > File Manager > public_html > [my website] > wp-content > plugins > deleted the undesired plugin folder.

Site seems to be working fine without it. 🙂

The issue is fixed in the plugin version 2.8.1, feel free to update your installation.
