Plugin will not activate

    I installed the Plugin Organizer plugin and tried activating it, but it refuses to do so. I tried reinstalling it; same situation. I’ve had trouble deleting a plugin before using the WP plugin interface (so I just deleted via FTP) but never activating… not sure what to do.

    Running Avada theme version 5.2.2 (current version with all patches installed), WP version 4.8.2, I am sure additional info is needed here, just don’t know what it might be, so please ask if needed!

    Is there anything in your server logs? PHP errors? MySQL errors? Do you mean you click activate and nothing happens? Or does something happen?

    It looks like your site is using cloudflare. Is your site cached?

    Hi Jeff, yes, the site is cached, and when I click “activate” WordPress says it’s been activated in a confirmation message at the top of the plugin screen, but when I scroll to the plugin, it is not activated. I haven’t seen this happen with the other plugins we have, so not sure what is causing it.

    Super excited to use it, though!

    It’s working now. Maybe it just needed 24 hours to be recognized for some reason?

    That definitely sounds like your caching is causing the problem.
