    This is what I currently have in my widget logic box:

    is_page() || is_category() || is_search() || is_category(‘Blog’) || is_category(‘Halloween’) || is_category(‘Chicago’) || is_category(‘Space Pops’) || is_category(‘Trips’) || is_category(‘About Me’) || is_category(‘Holiday’) || is_archive() || is_single() && in_category(‘Blog’) || is_post_type_archive() || is_404()

    looks like it might be, oddly, quite tricky

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Pagination#static_front_page implies you have to use get_query_var(‘paged’) and get_query_var(‘page’) if that doesn’t work

    get_query_var(‘paged’) <—this worked!

    Thank you so much!

    If I have a page called “staff”, how do I get the widget to show only on that page?
