My problem is to use this plugin with a WP-site in Russian. It shows part of information in English and the other part in Russian. My suggestion is to add config fields for the widget name and local equivalent of Enlish word "ago" letting a site admin to customize the plugin widget.

I'd like to try out the internationalization features available in PHP and WordPress. Are you able to provide translations for two strings? I assume you are targeting ru_RU, and already have that translation of WordPress loaded.

    • Online now!

I can definitely look into alternate methods, but this seems like the best way to proceed.

Yes, I can. Actually I did it for my site - you can see it here:

I've found that there are 3 places to be translated:

    1. Widget name (default "Users") - I am using "Сайт посетили" (literally "the site has been visited by"). For "Users" exact translation is "Пользователи", but it sounds too technical and too official.
    2. " ago" - " назад"
    3. " Online now!" - " сейчас в сети!"

For "Last online" the tranlation is "Был в сети", but it works without changing this one.

    Yes, that's fo ru_RU.

Good luck :) And thank you for nice plugin :)
