[Plugin: White Label CMS] Different Customization depending on User Role

  • I don’t know if this is already possible, but I would like the ability to restrict the ‘Customization’ and ‘Add Your Own Dashboard Panel’ changes to only apply to the user role of Editor or below.

That would make it consistent with the way the ‘Modify Menus’ changes work.

As an Admin, if I want to see what an Editor/Author sees, it’s easy enough for me to set up an account with the appropriate role and log in using that account.

Other than that, thanks for a great plugin.

    Andrew

We will look into this Andrew.

Thanks for the ideas, and keep them coming!

I’ll second this – great idea. I want to see all the dashboard panels but don’t want my client to!

I would love to see the ability to add custom user roles. Not all of my clients want to me perform upgrades etc for them (they want to handle these things themselves), but they need the ability to upgrade plugins and core, etc.
