Plugin Wassup

    I love the plugin wassup but with it loaded it takes the blog almost a minute to load. Is there anything I can do to speed things up. In fact I have the same slowdown problem when I use some (some) other plugins. Can someone point me in the right direction? I did uncheck the spam checking feature but things still move abysmally slow. Thanks
