  • hi, excuse my ignorance, but i what about installing w3tc in a simple shared hosting and use box.net as cdn (i heard box.net offer up to 15 gb disk space and 10 gb tranfer bandwidht per month for free)

so, of course cost will be minimun cost

but can any use something like this?
could be a convenient way for a little portfolio webpage
is a proved way to configure w3tc cdn to work with box.net

any response of anybody will be really appreciated!

  • Hosting plans offer lots of bandwidth already, I’m not sure that it’s necessary to use box.net as CDN nor that it provides any specific performance benefit compared to true CDN providers.

ok, and first at all thank for thinking about the question!

but could box.net be more performance that subdomain self hosted method?

putting themes and javascript in one subdomain self hosted and image content in a other (mean box.net) could be a way?

what do you advice to use for a little site with 1000 visits/days or no more than 10 concurrent users for pages size near 1.5 mb (1.0 mb of images)

    thank in advance, pescadito

Box.net is not a solution and not really supported. Your options are self-hosted or one of the other supported solutions.
