  • Well, here I am again, sorry for my little knowing, perhaps I’m doing something wrong, but I don’t know what.

So, I want to use CDN self hosted, so I make a subdomain ( to host all the images and stuff. My web is

I put that ( on CDN tab and pass the test. I enable CDN self hosted, and when I go to “Importing attachments…” a window pops up and tell me that I have Total posts: 1398
and I have more than 3000 and more than half with an image…

But when the import thing begins to work I’ve found
    File type rejected or
    External file import is disabled

I’m also don’t know what is the meaning of

Create a list of redirects to CDN (hostname specified in hostname field #1.)

Should I mark that or not?

When process is done, no .htaccess changes are suggested and no files are dropped into

So I’ve disabled CDN sel-hosted option until anyone can tell me what I’m doing wrong…

Thanks in advance for your time and patience

Make sure to check “Import external media library attachments” and save settings afterwards before saving settings.

    Yes! I forgot that…

    This is now the result:
Total posts: 1399 out of 3060 posts in blog.
Only 23 posts have been processed. All others show:
    File type rejected or
    Unable to download file

No .htaccess rules suggested. No files dropped into self hosted CDN (

I also would like to know if I should mark
Create a list of redirects to CDN (hostname specified in hostname field #1.)

I’ve disabled CDN and now my site is fine. The images showed a error 500 for the route. As an example:

    What did I’ve done wrong?

Do not enable CDN until you finish importing/exporting files. It’s up to you if you want to create a list of redirects for search engines. Importing/exporting files does not cause 500 errors. You can submit a bug submission form from the support tab of the plugin.
