  • I really love this caching plugin but I have 1 minor issue. I use another plugin called Visitor Maps and Who’s Online. It allows me to see roughly how many users are viewing the site at any given time. I noticed when I have it on its usually around 20 users and when it gets really busy up to 120ish. When I turn W3 off it jumps up to 100+ and when busy 400+. I honestly know I have more than 20 users online at any given time, so W3 is definitely causing this to be way lower. How can I prevent this?

I have added the following db tables to the ignored query stems:

I do not think this is working. Is this not the correct way to do this? If not could someone please inform me how I can go about this?

  • Unfortunately this requires fragment caching in order to work which is not yet supported by W3TC. So the next best thing would be to lower the expiry time of the cached pages, but that is not a perfect solution.

    Hi Frederick,

I use Visitor Maps and Who’s Online as well. Just curious if fragment caching is supported W3TC yet or if there is another workaround. Thanks!

It’s been supported for months, please check the plugin’s FAQ for syntax.
