[Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Multisite object cache bug

  • A bit of an edge case bug, but a bug none-the-less.

If you activate W3TC on a single site within a Multisite setup, then it messes up object caching for the primary site. The most obvious problem this causes is that the primary site admin area and the network admin area will hit api.wordpress.org three times on every single page load because the object cache is not persistent.

As I said, this is probably edge case, but it would be nice to be able to have W3TC selectively activated on individual sites on a multisite setup without it causing this problem.
