[Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Minify and Page cache rewrite rules problem

  • As soon as I install 0.9.2.4 version, and clear all caches, I get message that minify and page cache rewrite rules are broken and that .htaccess for them can’t be created. Also, minify files are broken (created, have invalid names).

I had to revert to 0.9.2.3. Also, removing all settings and reinstalling plugins is not solving problems.

I am also running into the same problem. All we did was move the website to a different domain on the same server and the rewrite issues started popping up. All we changed to:

    – A new domain
    – A new IP address
    – A new SSL certificate.

The server itself is the same. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I’ve read through all the other forum posts on this, and it seems like most people suggest going to basic page caching and turning off url rewriting for minify, but those don’t seem to be best for performance.

    Thanks.

For some reason this morning everything was working fine with no errors at all. I wish we could provide a fix here, but unfortunately we don’t really know what happened.

We think it might have had something to do with cron not working correctly, but we aren’t sure. Good luck figuring it out.
