JQuery not Gzipping (3 posts)

    When running tests on my site using gtmetrix.com it is detecting that certain JS files are not being gzipped. I had to turn off minify JS for the time being as it was conflicting with a commercial plugin (Pippity) but I am trying to at least get the big jQuery JS file to gzip. Gtmetrix says that this will save 50k+. Here is what W3 has in my .htaccess for mod_deflate:

    Is there something that needs to be tweaked in here to make sure that the JS files get gzipped? Thanks in advance.

    If you run compability check does it say that deflate, zip and such is installed?
    If everything is installed you can submit a bug submission form from the Support page in the plugin.

    In order to minify files on some rare cases the files would need to be minified.
