[Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Is W3TC defunct? No longer updated?

    I’m just wondering why people are continuing to use this plugin since it has been almost a year since the last update, and it has not been tested to work with any version of WordPress higher than 3.2.1

    It appears that development has stopped and all the glowing endorsements are quite old.

    What is really the status of this plugin?

    I much prefer this plugin to Super Cache. Fredrick has done a great job. I would certainly consider paying for the plugin for increased support.

    Come on guys — he is providing it free.

    I hope it comes out soon and hope it corrects the buddypress problems. but if it was me with a couple of post like that I’d never give another update.

    I am also waiting on the update. I am currently using Quickcache waiting for an update.

    Thank you for providing W3 Total Cache in the past even if you never release another update.
