[Plugin: W3 Total Cache] index.php caching

  • have the latest version of everything, and using HostGator — they flagged the index.php file — what is the downside to caching the index.php versus having it never cached?

    PHP files are never cached, it’s the output from WP (index.php in almost all cases) that needs to be cached to answer requests.
