• I am testing various combinations of caching and other optimization plugins and discovered that when W3 is activated, some of my images disappear – images in the header and on the front page, but the footer ones are still there.

I tried deactivating all other plugins and it still does it. I did clear the page cache and my browser cache. Still gone.

When I deactivate W3, all the images reappear.

Any idea what could be causing this?

  • The page cache, nor the database cache would not cause this. So it’s either a minification bug (unlikely) or you have enabled a CDN method and either not uploaded any attachments to your CDN or in fact do not have a properly configured CDN account with your provider.

Okay, I wondered if it had something to do with the CDN. I will play with those settings and see if I can fix it.

    Ok.
