I'm having problems with setting up Cloudflare and Cloudfront (maybe a bit geeky but I'm trying to see if it gains some extra speed) according to this article (incl manual) it does.
The error is like this:
Error: Unable to create distribution for origin www.janpeeters.nl (S3::createDistribution('www.janpeeters.nl', 'custom', 1, 'cdn.janpeeters.nl, cdn1.janpeeters.nl, cdn2.janpeeters.nl, cdn3.janpeeters.nl', ''): [CNAMEAlreadyExists] One or more of the CNAMEs you provided are already associated with a different resource.).
The Test Cloudfront distribution test passes.
I've entered the four CDN names in
- Amazon AWS distribution under alternate domainnames
- in W3 Total Cache and
- Cloudfront DNS
When I do a network test cdn.janpeeters.nl (and cdn1-3) correctly resolve to the AWS distribution.
Does anyone have an idea what I could be overlooking?
Best regards, Jan
