[Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Conflict between zlib.output_compression and gzip

    Hello,

I am facing a conflict between zlib.output_compression and gzip

I have w3total cache running on my blog.

Initially when I checked I found that gzip is not working. Then I enabled zlib.output_compression.

Now the problem is that I get an alert from the plugin that zlib.output_compression should be disabled.

My problem is that if I disable zlib.output_compression, then the gzip is not working.

How do i resolve this issue?

You do not need to enable zlib compression if you have compression enabled on the browser cache settings tab in W3TC (the default setting). W3TC normally returns the gzipped file to browsers that support it.
