First of all, thanks so much for building W3-total cache and making it available for free. I have deployed it to two of my blogs and plan to throw it on 3-4 more over the next few days and spread the word to everyone I know. I will also definitely donate for the time saved 🙂
I have a brief question. My friend’s site (http://www.thecultureofme.com) is using ngGallery to display photo galleries. He has chosen not to CDN all of his photo gallery files because there are a ton of them and it would be expensive.
This is working as intended (by excluding the image gallery directory) but we do need a few of the thumbnails as they are displayed on the homepage under ‘featured’ posts.

When he makes a post, this image is placed on the homepage, but not added to the media library. Because I’ve added its directory to the ‘Custom’ files (under CDN Options in W3-total-cache), it is not automatically placed on the CDN.
Is there any way to force the plugin to re-evaluate ‘Custom’ files whenever a post is made? My current workaround is to enable the ‘Enable Changed Files Auto-Upload’ every 360 seconds so that every 6 minutes, it refreshes the CDN content but I’m sure this is not the optimal way to do things.
