[Plugin: W3 Total Cache] certain parts of page not cached

  • I want to know if its possible to register parts of the page to be processed for all visitors (or maybe there’s a hook I can use?). We have a geoip software that gets the vistor’s location and shows him events near him. I would like to cache the whole page except for that widget.
How would I go about achieving this?
I did a PHPDoc for w3-total cache and nothing jumps out as being something that registers “do not cache” parts of pages.
Would trying to hook into a wordpress cache hook be best? if so, any direction on how people have solved this problem in the past would be great.

    Thanks

So you would have to use disk basic caching and fragment caching syntax where applicable. Check the plugin’s FAQ for syntax.
