# [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Cannot access wp-admin

 * After installing w3tc today I cannot accesss wp-admin at all.
 * I constantly get a 404 error.
 * I have tried removing the files as noted here
    [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/360682?replies=8](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/360682?replies=8)
 * and disabling all plugins but still no access to wp-admin.
 * Please help.

 * Similar problem here. Check your .htaccess file to be sure that it has only the
   necessary directives???
 * I noticed several 3 updates in my .htaccess by W3.
