# [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Basic question – does this actually create static files?

 * i.e. files I should be able to see in the server?
 * Also, I currently do not have database caching on, just page, object, minify 
   and browser. Will database caching improve much more? Not sure why I do not have
   it on (someone set it up for me).
