Support » Plugin: Visual Form Builder » [Plugin: Visual Form Builder] Is there a max number of fields you can add to the form?

I’m probably over 300 field or so and then for some reason it stopped saving the field entries. When I try to add anymore fields, when I enter in information and then hit save form the information disappears.

So I was wondering if there is a max number of fields you can add and if so is there a way to increase this number, or possibly make a multi-page form?

  • Actually I just counted I’m at about 150 fields

No, there is not a limit to the number of fields you can create. With that being said, why would you build a form with 150 fields? No one is going to like filling that out.

If you want to setup pages, you can upgrade to the Pro version.

I just purchased the pro version and am still haveing the same problem. Even though I add the page breaks it still seems like there is a limit on the amount of fields the admin panel can hold, cause once i can to a certain point I can keep adding the field, but when I click save and scroll down to them the fields past the limit do not save what is typed in them.

The reason I’m need to make such long forms is because I have insurance forms and that I’m trying to convert from pdfs to html forms that will email the data. Here is an example pdf

Check your server setup and make sure that you have allowed enough memory_limit and that post_max_size is set to something reasonable.
