It’s a database encoding issue. * At this point, you have two options (easy and hard). Easy: delete the plugin through Plugins admin which will delete all data and tables from your database. Reinstall the plugin and the encoding will be properly set and you won’t have any encoding problems. * Hard: get ready to run a bunch of complicated SQL queries to convert each field to the proper encoding. It works almost perfectly. Almost because there is stil problem with email encoding.
