• The description of a field is sometimes before the input and sometimes after the input, making it impossible to style it with CSS so that it will always be visually in the same place.

In text fields, the description is after the input, but in textarea fields the description comes before the input. I don’t see why this is neccesary, especially since this makes it nearly impossible (without implying strange dependencies) to make it appear always below, always above, or always to the side.

Please, either make it optional (“description location: before/after”) or make it consistent.

The reason descriptions are placed before a textarea is because the size of the input and the typical type of data being entered usually means it’s necessary to see some explanatory text beforehand.

I don’t plan on making the description position an option.

Please don’t resolve this, because it’s not resolved. I still don’t see how I can make the descriptions visually consistent is the HTML switches them for some fields.

I’m just trying to set up a form now. Almost all forms I have seen have the field description above the field. It looks horrible below the field in my opinion so we probably won’t be able to use this unfortunately. Otherwise it looks like a great plugin.

I take that back – I’ll just hack the php code.
