# Problem with my commercial plugin

 * Ever since I have upgraded to WordPress 4.5.2 the Visual Composer plugin has 
   not been working. It shows up, but does not allow me to add any new images to
   a gallery. The theme I am running is Salient. Both the theme and the plugin are

   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 * Hey, did you upgrade Visual Composer to the latest version? That’s usually the
   issue with newer versions of WordPress and older versions of Visual Composer.

 * The version I have came with the theme, so when I updated the theme, it also 
   updated the plugin. I have tried deleting it and reuploading. But it still isn’t
   working.

 * Upgrading the theme doesn’t automatically upgrade Visual Composer, you usually
   have to do it manually for versions that come with a theme. But since you tried
   deleting and re-installing VC already, we can continue troubleshooting.
 * At this point you have 2 options:
 * 1. You can begin disabling plugins one by one to find the one that’s causing 
   a conflict with VC.
 * 2. Since you purchased a theme, I would contact theme developer to find out if
   there are any known issues. They will most likely ask you to do #1 to identify
   plugin that’s conflicting with Visual Composer.
