    I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, great plugin!
 * Is it possible to have the next version work with the [TinyMCEComments](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tinymcecomments/)
   plugin? I’d love to give my visitors the ability to embedded YouTube videos in
   their comments.

 * Sorry, I hate TinyMCE too much as it is. 🙂 Plus I’d have to implement videos
   in comments (a huge undertaking).
 * With my plugin being rather deprecated once WordPress 2.9 comes out, I have little
   interest in putting a lot of effort into it.

    Thanks for letting me know. I see from the Dev blog that your working
   on adding VVQ to the core! Great to hear!
 * You did some great work on this plugin over the years. Your going to have to 
   make a plugin that allows your users to convert all our old VVQ shortcodes to
   work with the new WP2.9 ones.

 * Viper’s Video Quicktags will continue to work in WordPress 2.9, but yes, at some
   point I’ll be rewriting this plugin to make the old shortcodes use the new built-
   in API (which is a lot better). It’ll also allow you additional configuration
   not available in the core (say like controlling the YouTube embed color for example).
