[Plugin: Vanilla Forums] Nice to see some activity on this plugin but need some help

If I have replace WP comments with Vanilla 2 things happen (By the way I love the Idea) but.

1. If I make any post (WP) it creates a post in vanilla with the Copyright stuff and a link to the post. It would be great to copy the post body and place it in the forums.
2. If I make a comment on the post (WP) it goes to a full vanilla website into the little area (like inline frame) and is hard to read and not aligned right but if I refresh the page it looks good like a real comment page, anyway to make this automatic?

also If I decide to embed Vanilla is there a way to get rid of the header so it looks better with wordpress

First: Thanks for trying this out! The embedded comments feature is still very new, but we’ve got some customers using it in production environments and the results are great so far.

That being said, the download/stable version of Vanilla available from VanillaForums.org is *behind* this plugin. Only unstable Vanilla (bleeding edge, available at GitHub) has the most recent code for this. Embedding is no longer a Vanilla plugin, but a core feature with it’s own admin page and everything. The official 2.1 open source release of Vanilla will contain these changes and all of the latest code to go along with it. Until then, you kind of need to be a cowboy to work with the unstable code.

Both of your issues here have been dealt with in the most recent code pushes. We don’t have an official release date for 2.1 yet.
