• Hello there

I’ve got your plugin installed on my site (don’t know what I would do without it!). I have successfully used another plugin to import some users from a csv file and there was a column available to assign a role to each and every user which I did.

Basically, all the 1200 users (literally 1/10th of the users going to be on my site) have been assigned a special role and some have been assigned various others. It is for a network of schools that requires staff and students to access my site.

Basically, I can view the groups of users on the “all users” page, set out as below:

    All (1,214) | Administrator (1) | Staff_XXXXX (141) | Student_XXXXX (1,071)

Only in the column that says “role” the fields for all users says “NONE”. But then when I edit a user it says at the very bottom “Additional capabilities: Student_xxxx”

What I want to know is: have my user roles been assigned correctly?

I don’t want to have the security of my site compromised by malicious users! Please let me know..

    Hello,
It seems that users under Student_XXX have no role assigned.
Try to assign all of them Student_XXX role via bulk action.
WordPress is capable to assign capability to the users directly not through the role only. It could be your case after importing users operation.
I just suppose it, direct investigation of site data is needed to be more exact.
