Support » Plugin: User Meta » [Plugin: User Meta] not installing correctly

  • It took me a while to get User Meta working on a new install. Eventually I realised that it HAS to be in a folder called user-meta. Obvious perhaps, but just in case anyone else hits this. Many plugins can work in a folder that has their version number for example, and do not mind different folder names when they are updated.

User Meta plugin do work with different directory name. For instance, you can rename user-meta directory to user-meta1.1.0 or user-meta-custom. It will work too.
