[Plugin: User Access Manager] giving user/author capability to choose group access

  • Hi there,

I admit this plugin is very useful to manage users.

I just wonder, is it possible to give user/author capability to choose which group that can access/read (or even comment/edit) their post. Its like on the admin dashboard that admin can use Access box (at the right sidebar below the category box) that unfortunately does not appear on users admin page.

I’m no programmer, but i think, if somehow i could make a minor tweak, the access box could appear an it will solve part of my problem.

    thanks

  • I have the same thing with UAM.
I would like to have the access size bar available for the authors and editors.
They should be able to choose the access level of there posts.

Is there a way to activate this not only for the admin, but also for other users.

Thanks in advanced for the answer.

Dang! Was hoping someone answered up for I have the same question. I develop the site, do not want the client to muck up anything by having access to groups but would love if she/he had access to the Access settings on each page/post.

    UPDATE!!!

Just figured it out not minutes after I posted this!

    1. Go to UAM > Settings > Authors settings
    2. Change “Minimum user role with full access” to whatever you need!

    Whoot Whoot!
