Support » Plugins and Hacks » Plugin upgrade notification stopped

  • I upgraded successfully to WP2.7 and it worked well for a few days.

    Yesterday, I observed ten plugin upgrades to make but decided to make two things BEFORE upgrading them:

    1. delete Hello Dolly plugin;
    2. check if core update tools could upgrade all plugins at once;

    After I did both things (BTW, there is no “upgrade all” option?), the plugin upgrades had disappeared and didn’t come back until now. I already checked wordpress.org/extend and there ARE new versions of the plugins.

    How can I get that plugin upgrade notification back?

  • What exactly did you do to “check if core update tools could upgrade all plugins at once”?

    I clicked on Tools > Updates (I think these are the names, I use pt_BR version) to see if there was an “upgrade all plugins” along with the “update wordpress” option…

    I described both actions as clues to help pinpoint the problem…

    Ah! Plugin upgrade notifications disappeared from plugins pages too…

    Any ideas?

    I have already reinstalled WordPress 2.7, and have just finished deleting all options that contained “update” in their option_name fields in wp_options…

    …but the plugin update notification has not returned yet. I’m getting out of ideas…
