I ran a Backup Now yesterday to see how it worked, and it did not. Tried again this morning with the Backup Now and it didn’t work. I do have it configured for Daily though. I just wanted to run one to see if it works. The scheduled daily back up for today just ran and did not completed with the below message. * Terminate: the temporary file /home1/housekab/public_html/wp-content/updraft/ backup_2013-01-25-2054_HouseKaboodle_8848b1ebaf3b-uploads.zip.tmp already exists, and was modified within the last 20 seconds (time_mod=1359148495, time_now=1359148495, diff=0, size=1970029561). This likely means that another UpdraftPlus run is still at work; so we will exit. (Jan 25 21:14:55) * Now, it says: Table wp_redirection_items: corresponding file already exists; moving on (Jan 25 21:19:57) But, it also says Last backup: No backup has been completed Download backups: 1 available I do have it set to Google Drive. There are files there. I have no idea if this is working. I did get a few updates via Plugins that I installed. Don’t know if a backup trying to run that is not working messed that up. I do see errors in my host- I called them, they say it is not them. * Then, I did another post in the other forum:… okay, now I have: The backup apparently succeeded and is now complete. So perhaps it is working, although it still says: Last backup: No backup has completed I do however see files in Google Drive…. * *******NOPE****** Now it says: The backup has not finished; a resumption is scheduled withing 5 minutes. (This is still there and did not resume) But, got an email saying: Backup is complete, but contains database only, no files. ????????????????? I do have files checked and it does look like Google Drive has “files” copies.-? * How do you stop a backup? It seems to just keep on running-?? (One for DB, one for plugins, one for themes, one for uploads, one for others, assuming that you configured all of those). If they are there, then it is working. All the rest is noise. * If your files and DB are on separate schedules, then the emails also go out separately. In the latest release, the message “Database only (no files)” is displaying every time, regardless of the reality. When I click on it, it says No Preview Available -Download And Then in Google Drive there are files from the scheduled backup performed later in this day, but no files for the db from the scheduled backup. But FTP into your wp-content/updraft directory etc, I do not understand. 1. I don’t use FTP and then where do I retrieve the “files with date stamps indicating they were modified since you started the new backup run.” to email? Will that be what I see in Google Drive? If you’re not familiar with FTP, then you can try a backup, wait half an hour, then come back to (reload) your UpdraftPlus settings page, and click on the “ Download log” link that should be visible.
