# Plugin updates not working on Pro -version in multisites

 * Plugin updates for Pro -version are not working on multisites. In our single 
   sites, the Koko Analytics Pro finds the plugin update from 2.0.8 to 2.0.9, but
   on multisites it does not find the 2.0.9 update. This same happens in all of 
   our multisites, not only on the linked site.

 * Unfortunately I was not able to replicate the issue. Plugin updates on WordPress
   Multi-Site are working just fine for me. That likely means that something else
   on your sites is causing the issue for you. I’d love to help you find out what
   it is.
    - Do you see the plugin update but are you unable to install it or are you simply
      not seeing any update, despite being on any version <= 2.0.8?
    - Does the issue persist if you try with all other plugins except Koko Analytics
      and Koko Analytics Pro deactivated? This will rule out any issues with plugins
      incorrectly filtering on the **pre_set_site_transient_update_plugins** filter
      hook.

   On the problem sites, the plugin does not show that there
   is available updates and disabling other plugins did not affect this.
 * Currently it seems that the multisites where the plugin is active on main site
   are finding updates, but not the sites where the plugin is only active on one
   of the other sites in the network. 
   For example in the site that is linked to
   this topic, the plugin is only active on one subsite that is under a subdomain
   of the main site’s domain. The license for the plugin is linked to this subdomain
   and not the main site’s domain.

 * That’s really strange – I just tested this exact same scenario:
    - Main site with 2 subsites.
    - Koko Analytics Pro **not** network activated but only activated on one of 
      the two sub-sites.
    - The main site was able to detect the available update without any issues.
 * The activation status of your Koko Analytics Pro account is not used for the 
   update checks, but only for installing available updates. So even if you went
   through the license activation step from one of the sub-sites, this should not
   affect whether you are seeing any available updates.
 * That leaves me without any ideas as to why this is not working for you though.
   Maybe you can try installing a plugin like [Query Monitor](https://wordpress.org/plugins/query-monitor/)
   to check the HTTP requests which are going out when checking for new updates?

 * Hi! 
   Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, and thanks for testing the scenario.
   After my last reply, we found another plugin that has the same issue with updates
   on the website in question. It seems the problem was actually within our environment,
   not with the Koko Analytics plugin.
