# Plugin Updates Disappear

 * I am running WordPress 5.8. Recently when I first login to the Admin Dashboard,
   I see several plugin updates pending. When I visit the Plugin Panel or Updates
   Panel, the updates disappear.
 * I then activate WP Safe Mode plugin (normally I leave it disactivated) and the
   Plugin Updates reappear and I am able to navigate to the Plugins panel and process
   the updates.
 * What could be happening here? Why is WP Safe Mode making the issue disappear 
   just by being activated?
 * Any clues?
