Plugin updater and backup plugin not working

    Hi,
    I’m using iThemes Security plugin (standard version).

    I’m investigating for an issue I’m having with a plugins/theme auto-updater plugin (Companion Auto Updater), and a backup plugin (BackWPup) that don’t run automatically as they should.

    Is there any iThemes security plugin setting (for example: “Disable PHP in Plugins” setting in “System Tweaks” settings) that could interfere with an auto-updater or backup plugin?
