    I just updated the wp ecommerce plugin on one of my sites and this is what resulted.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in /home/interl16/public_html/stockandstudio.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-e-commerce/wpsc-components/merchant-core-v3/gateways/braintree-credit-cards.php on line 21

    How do I go about fixing it. As is, the above message is what I get when I go to my site.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Do you happen to know what PHP version your site is on?

    I lost a site on GoDaddy Managed WordPress (5.4.42) – I know it sucks.

    But the problem appears to be that this syntax
    $this->helpers::is_gateway_setup( ‘braintree-credit-cards’ )

    isn’t legit in 5.4.42

    The site automatically updates but I don’t know the specifics.

    I restored to the previous version. And recommend that @aradianaturals do the same for the time being.

    If I deleted the plugin on my server and then reinstalled, would my shopping cart and items be restored?

    Hey guys.
    Sorry for the trouble. We pushed an update 3.13.1 which will fix the issue.
    What you can do is rename the plugin directory via FTP to something like wp-e-commerce123
    Open the plugins page then you will see a notice that the plugin has been disabled.
    rename the plugin directory back to wp-e-commerce
    refresh the plugins page and when you see the update to 3.13.1 do it then reactivate the plugin.

    All fixed. Thank you.
    (That was easy)
